Application and conditions for foreign patients to visit Taiwan

The Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Shih Chung-liang stated that non-R.O.C. nationals are allowed to visit Taiwan for seeking infertility treatment, starting from March 1. 
 

Entry condition：

• Applicants MUST have received medical treatments in medical institutions in Taiwan.

Document preparation：

• English-language certificate of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result within two days prior to boarding the flight to Taiwan.
• Letter of consent to receive Quarantine.
• Proof of financial statement (the saving amount should be above 30,000USD) or Medical Insurance certificate (the insurance amount should be above 30,000USD)

On behalf of the applicant, the medical institution shall apply to the MOHW for an entry permit for medical treatment. Upon arrival, you MUST agree to receive a three-day home quarantine and four-day self-initiated epidemic prevention following the end of quarantine will be required, and receive all tests regulations. Violators of relevant regulations will receive a penalty according to law.
